After the rush for Christmas fish supplies most fishermen, particularly our line fishermen, take a well deserved short break. What does this mean for Redfish? It means we have limited supplies to choose from, and as we don’t want to compromise on either quality or freshness, or resort to methods of fishing that we don’t agree with, we have decided to close today rather than sell a product that doesn’t meet our standards.
We are really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and closing, rather than supply our many wonderful customers inferior quality, was a last resort. So it’s off to the markets on Monday, buy the best fish I can and spend the rest of the day and Tuesday morning filleting fish ready for Tuesday night.
